The HSS001 is the baseline model. Although all three models are available for OEM use, this model was specifically designed for the OEM market. Its compact design and awe-inspiring features will make this product a best seller. The HSS001 is housed in a compact 13” X 13” X 7” NEMA 4X fiberglass enclosure. The HSS001 does not however offer the ability of being upgraded to redundancy. If your project requires redundancy (Hot-Standby), purchase the HSS002-2 model.

The HSS002-1 model is similar to the baseline model, but its backplane is capable of accepting more network interface modules and accommodates an upgrade to Hot-Standby Redundancy. The HSS002-1 is housed in a 30” X 24” X 8” NEMA 12 steel enclosure, leaving room for the redundancy upgrade.

The HSS002-2 model includes Hot-Standby Redundancy and is also housed in a 30" X 24" X 8" NEMA 12 steel enclosure. The HSS002-2 includes dual Hyper Server Modules that automatically switch primary and backup roles on a daily basis to ensure that they're equally exercised and the Hot-Standby feature is operational. In the event of a primary Hyper Server Module failure, the backup will resume operation immediately without human intervention. When this transition occurs, there is no loss of function or data and is transparent to the user with the exception of a generated alarm that is announced in the alarm viewer program. The HSS002-2 includes dual Power Supply Modules as well. In the event of a primary Power Supply Module failure, the backup will resume operation immediately without human intervention.
